The Remix Sling from Cement6 was a huge hit for its first summer in Provincetown! The Remix is is a blend between a small backpack, a sling, and a crossbody. With a convertible strap and four heavy-duty D-rings, this bag can be worn multiple ways. Outside it has a zipper pocket on the front and a slip pocket on the back. Inside the roomy main compartment, you'll find slots for cards and a second pocket with a zipper.
This bag is made from upcycled cement and animal feed bags that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. They have lived a full life prior to their transformation. Each item is one of a kind, so coloring & pattern placement may vary. Imperfections should be celebrated. The material is water resistant & durable. We recommend hand washing & air drying. Items will soften & slightly fade with time and constant wear, giving it a unique, well-loved look. It is rare but possible for transfer of coloring to take place.

Jeremy and Susannah, the co-founders and designers behind Cement6, met while building a house in Haiti during college.
While in Southeast Asia, Susannah saw heaps of discarded cement and farming bags cluttering streets. She later met a talented woman at the night market who was transforming this trash into unique tote bags. An idea was born.
Working with artisans in Cambodia, CEMENT6 creates a sustainable, quality product while paying a living wage to over 40 men and women in Phnom Penh. This Nashville-based company also partners with groups that help the poor with basic necessities and teach orphaned youths the skills needed to lead independent, self-sufficient lives.
