What started as an experiment in cutting old CDs turned into an unexpected discovery. When artist Heather applied heat, the discs crackled—literally—and changed color. CDs transformed into a subtle, pale green; DVDs, with their different chemical makeup, shifted into a bold, iridescent purple.
Each necklace is cut by hand into a square or rectangle, then paired with a colorful ball chain for a lightweight, eye-catching piece that brings new life to obsolete tech. No two are exactly alike, and that’s exactly the point.
Handmade from reclaimed materials. Chain color can be identified by the last letter in the item number: B=bronze, C=copper, G=gunmetal.
Each of these items is different. The images shown are sample photos and do not show the exact item you are purchasing. Because each is handmade using upcycled materials, you should understand that the product you receive will vary in appearance.
