As any musician knows, keeping time starts with the downbeat. But sometimes, the rhythm calls for improvisation—and that’s where the real magic happens. Made from reclaimed drum cymbals and polished to a smooth finish, the Downbeat earrings celebrate both structure and spontaneity.
Each piece measures 1" tall by 0.75" wide and hangs from kidney-style earring hooks, which are nickel- and lead-free. As with all jewelry from Full Circle Co., each pair is unique, shaped by the music of its past.
Each of these items is different. The images shown are sample photos and do not show the exact item you are purchasing. Because each is handmade using upcycled materials, you should understand that the product you receive will vary in appearance.
About Full Circle Co.
Full Circle Co. started in the summer of 2018 when Liz Aponte had a thought: What can I do with my broken cymbals? Her cymbals helped her learn different beats, toured the country with her, and even helped her teach other people drums. So when she would break cymbals, she was devastated.
After a year of research and development, countless tweaks and making sure they could actually take bashed material and make it beautiful, Full Circle Co. was born. The name Full Circle comes from the fact that a cymbal is a circle, but also from the material they use coming full circle.
Each product from Full Circle Co. has a past history that spans years, from the transformation of metal to a usable cymbal, then to the owner of that cymbal using it to further their musical passion, and now into your hands to carry on that legacy.
All Full Circle Co. jewelry is made in Salt Lake City, Utah.
