Heather from Blu Kat Design loves working with upcycled materials when she creates her handmade jewelry. Repurposed has carried pieces created by her from hairpins, CDs and DVDs, resistors, denim, buttons, and other recycled materials. What she can do with a pair of can tabs, though, is proof of her artistic talent.
The earrings shown here started as tabs from beverage cans. Heather then adds beads and rings and wire to create one-of-a-kind—well, two-of-a-kind—pieces of stylish and eco-friendly jewelry.
